International call not passing 011

Opt 11 running 3.0

Nars/bars NOT programmed. Using unr and CTD in set class of service to set permission for long distance.

PRI using NI2

Trunks are programmed for two way DID


Cannot dial international long distance from this system as somewhere in the PBX it is stripping off the 011.

I perform a TRAC in ld 80. I see the digits dialed from the set but the digits outpulsed on the trunk does not include 011. The call is flaged as an international call.

I cannot determine where in the switch 011 would be stripped out but the remaining digits still outpulsed. Regular long distance calls (1+) are outpulsed normally.

it is not stripping digits but with NI2 you do not see them

Call your carrier - on 90% of new NI2 T1s I have problems with international and 90% of those have to get translations involved.

There are a few carriers that want to see called tagged something other than international - If this is your case you would need to have BARS in order the change call type.
 
yup. program the bars/nars. add spn - 011. Then in the RLI create a DGT with nothing but CTYP = INTL and this should solve the problem

With all the scripts that are on this board, it couldn't take more than 15 minutes to create a basic BARS/NARS setup.

if you are not using ld 90, prt your allow/deny table in ld 49..

I have looked in Ld 49 and there is nothing programmed for allow/deny


I'm thinking this will need to have nars/bars programmed if for no other reason than the flexability nars/bars provides.
 
This is now seriously starting to pizzle me off.....


Enabled NARS/BARS on the system, tried every tag available in ld 86 digit manipulation (taged as ukwn, intl, spn, npa, nxx, etc...) including inserting 011 and or deleting the leading three digits.
Results vary depending on the tag.
NCHG, INTL, NPA, NXX all give me an intercept treatment from Allstream. LOC, CDP, SPN, and UKWN all give me reorder tone (fast busy) If I insert 011 all give me reorder tone. Sadly I do not have D channel messages for all.


Allstream is telling me international calls need to be either tagged for "National" or "Unknown" when connected to their DMS500 using NI2.

The following Dchannel trace was done with digit manipulation set to delete 0, insert 011 and call type "UKWN"

Caller hears fast busy. Allstream is unable to see the dialed number in their trace.

I have other customers that have NI2 and are able to make lone distance calls. One of them has their calls tagged as "INTL" others don't have any tagging. None of them are with Allstream....

Where else would one be able to manipulate the outgoing call type aside from digit manipulation in LD 86?
