Hi Guys,

I recently configured a voicemail system for our mx-one but the issue is that I would like a call to be routed to additional extensions prior to heading to the voicemail huntgroup. The Voicemail Huntgroup = 270 and all calls are currently set to divert to that position if unanswered.

I would like call to be routed to extension 203,211 and then to huntgroup 270 (ext. 237,238,239). If I add these extensions (203,211) to the huntgoup, the call times out.

Also, it seems to be picking the higher extension number..i.e voicemail (239) once a call hits the huntgroup. Any suggestion guys?

Thanks

You can use personal number entries to divert calls to the other ext's first before going to the VM hunt group. As for the distribution among the VM huntgroup members, you can change that by altering the correct bit in the SEL parameter for the huntgroup - sounds like it's currently set for sequential (selects members based on the order in which they were initiated into the group)and you want it to be even distribution.

Good luck,

Dave Strang

You are referring to the CDINI command? Which commands are you referencing for personal number entries?

PELPI:DIR=xxxx,LIST=x,CHO=x,ANSPOS=xxxx,BSYCHO=x,time=xx;

Choice 1 is normally DIR and ANSPOS being the same number, for subsequent choices (for the same list) the number for ANSPOS is the next number to which the call should divert (deflect) after the value specified in TIME (entered as seconds)BSYCHO is where the call should go if the number entered in ANSPOS is busy.

The diversion point in CDINI is overridden by PELPI if a profile (list) is active, UNLESS the extension is direct diverted or no PE profile is active.

Good luck,

Dave Strang
