Hey guys,

Is there a way to trace internal events / internal calls in the 3300?

Example extension to extension or extension to voicemail

To be more specific, I do STATE EXTENSION for a VoiceMail port for example:
STATE EXTENSION 104

and I get the output below:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Location | Device | State | Owner | ID |Status
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 3 1 4 1| Superset 5020 IP |Busy |Call Proc|2 0A72|Wait
1 3 1 4 2| Unassigned |Not applicable | | |
1 3 1 4 2| Alternate Codec |Idle | | |
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

There is a call ID of 2 0A72.

How do I track down this caller?

First, thanks for replying to my thread earlier in regards to the voice mail fixed key on IP phones. Now, I don't have a answer for you but in my research of the COS Options in the help files, I found an option for SMDR Internal which allows station-to-station SMDR. Check the relevnt COS and make sure this is enabled. Based on that option, I would assume there is definitely a way to trace internal calls. Hope this gets you moving in the right direction.

SMDR is CDR. It is creating call records. I need more specifics. Events and mid-call features such as "off hook" and "transfer" respectively.

CCS trace doesn't appears to be tracing internal calls. And I can't seems to be able to find any other tool to use....

You might be better looking at MiTai Tools.

Don't ask me about it though as I have no clue.

Looks promising but where one can find those MiTai Tools

If you want to see what the port is connected to at the time you should use the "resource" command (if it still works on the 3300 )

Resource 1 3 1 4 1

This will tell you the PLID that it is connected to.

Hi,

Although I've limited experience using it you could use the IP Phone Analyser which can be downloaded from Mitel's Software Mall.

Seconding the Mitai Tools as being the only way to view in call feature activation remotely

Mitel has a SDK for Mitai. I vaguely remember that this was being retired though.

If memory serves. user slapin has significant experience in this regard.

Yup, found a thread where the MiTai SDK is discussed. thread1329-1554828

Bad news though, Slapin hasn't been round these parts since Sept 2013.

MiTai Browser may be the way to go. it looks at the MiTai stream to the handsets and shows on hook off hook etc.

from memory it came with CCM software.
