Would appreciate help on the following problem:
We have a DN with an internal only NCOS, but it cannot dial the site that is longlined off their M1.
Detail:
We have two sites A & B.
site B is longlined off site A and DSCs at site A (using the DN of the extn at site B) are used to route calls to site B.

The DN at site A with the internal only NCOS cannot dial DNs at site B.

Please advise how we overcome this?

This is at the limit of my M1 knowledge, so a detailed answer would be great!

Many thanks and apologies for the length of this post

The NCOS points to a restriction-table in LD49.
What do you see when you print the FCR table in LD 49?
These are the restrictions the NCOS use.
They are put together of a series of DENY and ALOW statesments.
Normaly NCOS 1 use CRNO 1 (a 1 to 1 mapping)
maby you need to edit your CRNO to alow sets to
dial the DN's at the other site?
NCOS only apply if you have CLS=TLD on the sets!

Check RLB in LD 86 that the DSCs are pointed to. Check ENT for FRL level and make sure your set at A has a NCOC at least as high as FRL in RLB for DSCs to ride.

By adding the leading digit of of site Bs Dns into the NCOS ALOW, the Site A DN can now call DNs @ site B.

I thought thought NCOS Allow/Deny was for PSTN nbrs only! DOH!!

Many thanks everone

either answer can be right, long lined can also mean more then one thing. are you dialing an route acod to hit the station? if so it's blocked in ld 49 as stated above. if your dialing ac1 or ac2 it's blocked in 86 as stated. if your hitting a tie trunk, be sure the targs are not a match. a little more info and we can help a little more.
