does anyone know what an internal type -43 error is for a Lexmark Optra T612? or maybe how to fix it? the tech support on their website isn't very helpful. thanks.

There is no "43" error. May be a "24X" error which is paper jam in finisher.X==tray 1,2,3,4,5,
Give more symptoms, or pull out all trays and look for jam.
