Hi all,

I have alarm:
100 INTERNAL ERROR ON DSU BOARD
DATE TIME ALP NOIF EQU INF1 INF2
04MAY07 22:17:49 3 1 001-0-**-** 0 256
RDATE RTIME
04MAY07 22:18:24

INF2 is Faulty AIC (Might cause loading problems)

How can I solve the problem? And what does the alarm means(exactly "AIC")?
Thank u in advance

Usually means the DSU is faulty,

1> Block the relevant DSU-board with the command LSBLI.
2> Change the relevant DSU-board.
3> Test the new DSU-board with the command LSFTI .
4> Deblock relevant DSU-board with the command LSBLE.

AIC is a hardware thing !, (below from ALEX)

The backplane interface:
========================
The Backplane interface is managed by AIC, an ASIC. It sends and receives data on a selectable number of time slots in multiples of 2 up to an entire 32 group. The AIC is programmed through a number of registers. AIC interfaces the M68302 by using a 74ACT74 latch and a 74F132 gate. During writing the AIC latches data on high to low transition of DS. The UDS is delayed to ensure data set up time by synchronously resetting the latch. The latch and the gate has no effect upon the release of UDS since the latch is asynchronously set.

All the backplane interface signals are buffered using hysteresis inputs and three state outputs. Device flag DEVF is controlled from PA12 on M68302. The backplane signal channel is connected to the third serial channel on M68302.
