I have a customer that wants to log internal calls on a 8410D. they are using this phone as an emergency phone and want to track the activity. I tried to simulate the situation on my G3siV9 unsuccessfuly. any ideas for this?
To do this, you will need some sort of call accounting software interacting with their system. If you do a search in here about call accounting software several people here have made attempts of doing this within purchasing anything.

change "intra-switch-cdr" and put stations you want to track on the form. If you are only wanting to track this and nothing else, you won't need call accounting software.
If you have call-accounting software, you need only to turn on station to station tracking on this form.
"change system-parameters cdr"
depending on your hardware platform, you can use data-modules for output device to connect a printer or PC with call accounting software. Or, you can use an IP endpoint if your switch platform supports that. If so, then you would
use "change node-names" and "change ip-services" to associate a node-name with an ip address, then associate the node-name to CDR1 / CDR2 for the clan(s)

see if you have cdr records being output to a printer or some collection device. If not, program and install a printer or a collection device that will allow you to collect and analyze the collected data.
