Does anyone know where the internal system battery is located in a TI Extensa 570CDT. ie the CMOS battery.

No i don't know. But, if it's clear after you look inside
then I'd say its one that cannot be replaced unless your willing to use solvering iron.

Good luck dude !

check the real time clock chip . Some times motherboard manufacturer solder a battery directly onto the pins of the real time integrated chip. You may find the black plastic cover near the CMOS I.C will lift off the real time I.C. chip and then you can easily see if there is a battery soldered to the I.C. I had a motherboard tx-pro that I could not find a battery on the motherboard and it was on the I.C real time clock . Solder two wires to the pins and then solder an AA battery holder . This makes it easier next time to replace battery.
