Intermittent static and dropped calls

Is there anyone familiar enough with the Avaya Office Ip system that can give any clues about intermittent static on inbound and outbound calls?
 
more info! pri, analog lines? Ip phones, digital or analog phones? IP office and version...
 
I had this on 2.0 and got a PB from Avaya which fixed it.

Might be internal component. We had one that actually introduced static to the whole small community network not just the phone system it was on.

Also if its an analog trunk, it may be the board. Some of the newer analog boards seem to not be as robust as previous analog boards.
 
You should using Tracing to find the issue, I had the same problem at a client, replaced all the hard still the same problem, turn out to be an issue at the Teleco Exchange.

Default Trace plus ISDN option.
