Hi,

My plateform is: 3300 Cxi
Since I upgrad to 4.0 SP3 (I want to keep OPS), phones reboot from time to time.
Never reboots when calls are engaged, seems to be when screensaver is displyed (I use the default one).

It happens with phones connected to the Cxi and phones connected to HP POE switch.
ICP logs say something like : port x down...weird

Before upgrading, everything was ok...

Any idea ?

Regards

What model of phones are affected?
We had no end of problems with the 5312 series when we upgraded to MCD4 - upgraded twice in an attempt to resolve (after advise from mitel) to no avail.
Ended up jumping to 4.1 - issue cleared

Hi,

Models are 5340.
ICP Former version was 9.0 UR2.

I want to keep OPS, so can't upgrade to 4.1...

Thanks anyway

have you checked to make sure your bootrom has been upgraded?
In maintainance type upgradebootrom all
It will check and if it needs to upgrade anything the system will need a reboot
If it does not need rebooting cos it has the correct bootrom
try issuing the command load ipdev 1 to 700 this will cause all the phones to reboot and if they require a newer boot load then they will get it.
