I have a WinXP computer connected to a TCP/IP peer-to-peer network that keeps getting disconnected from the network. It reconnects by itself as well. What could cause this intermittent network connection? This happens even when there's no activity on the computer at all.

thank for any help you guys can provide.

Do you have an ISDN link in the way? These Dialing on Demand services use to close the connection when the link is inactive for the configured amount of time.

Marcos.
