Having intermitent Lost Audio one way only on IP-Phones 96XX only. Several scenarios, 1st one is, This lost one way Audio happens even if the conversation is already stablish and after seconds or minuts or a while talking between co-workers in same department or calls between departments, one of the users does not hear other co-worker during the conversation.

2nd scenario, It has happen also immediate when you call a call worker in your same office or other department in same building and as soon the other end Answers the phone, the other end does not hear who called him.

One co-worker can not hear the other co-worker who call him. this is not all the time, is intermitent, and issue is on One Way Audio.

Here is a brief topology of my customer PBX Information, The customer has a CM R016x.00.1.510.1 and has latest Patch 19528 update. They have 3 port network with 2 cabinet each on each port network.

They have 14 MedPro's, they are all TN2302 with HW20 and have the latest Firmware (FW122) install and the IP-Phones 96xx has also the latest Firmware 6.2 Updated. They only have one (1) Network Region program and Codec Set program is 1. Using G711MU as 1st choice, as 2nd choice G729 and as 3er choice G729A.

When I do a Trace to a particular extension that has a lot of issues of lost Audio, can't see Packet loss or Jitter. Can see the Medpro use to stablish talk between users.

Can someone let me know possible actions to take or do, Has someone seen this before, the problem is that is intermitent and does not occure in the same IP-Extension, it varys between extension's.

By "latest Firmware 6.2 Updated", are you referring to the 6.2 GA release (26 Feb), the 6.2023 patch release which addresses voice quality issues (6 April), or the just-released 6.2.1 GA release (4 June)?

Hello

I just verify the firmware i have on the 9600 IP Phones and the firmware is: IP_Phone 6.2009.

Thanks, I'll look for this New Release. As you know Avaya has change its Web Page, can you provide me a Hint how to write down in the search for the new Firmware. I juet put on search Avaya IP Phone 9600 and can get info of this firmware.

Thanks

Search on "9600 Series IP Deskphone" then release "H.323 6.2.x".

Hi avaya033,

I don't know if you have solved your problem but if it's the case, I'm interested by the solution because I have the same issue.

Regards.
