Dear All,

I ran into a situation where I need to integrate one ERS 3526T-24 and 3510GT-8 together to allow more switch ports to host more IP phones .. No Stacking can be supported in this case so I would like to know if I can just simply connect one trunk port from the first switch to another trunk port on the second switch? If yes, how to configure the second 3510GT switch in this case? Is the IP office configuration mode on the second switch will still apply?

Thank you
Sam

Yes you need to trunk the ports.
You can even do two ports on each switch.

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Thank you. then the second switch shouldn't be in the IPO mode correct? Any chances you have a standard config for non IPO mode?

I don't know.
I did not play with the 3500 range yet.
On the 2500 range you create an uplink port so i guess you can do this too.
But i heard that you can use the ipo wizard and then change what is needed.
