hi every one
I'm looking to connect a meridian option 61c with a nortel modular ICS
before this post I connect them by using an analog extension from
option 61c to the MICS trunk card ,but It's not secure
I'll be greatfull if you give an idea more secure
for example using special cards like -bri card or E&M-

thank's a lot
and best regards

I have seen them interconnected using PRI, and I imagine that as long as there is a bri card for the ICS, you could get that to work.

What makes you think E&M is secure? Any analog connection over copper is susceptible to bridging.

thank you very much
I didn't know that E&M card use an analog connection

best regards

I would use a T1 connection between the 2.

E&M is old school, and just uses separate copper pairs for recieve (Ear) and Transmit (Mouth).

If your systems are co-located, just remember to use a crossover cable between them.

thank you very much
I didn't know that E&M card use an analog connection

best regards
