Intercom page buttons haunted 1

Anyone have this happen where you program intercom page buttons, and they mysteriously become intercom ring buttons? Might be right after programming, or sometimes after a reboot, but sooner or later they just change on they're own. Doesn't matter if done thru manager or X10. Customer is getting annoyed, as am I. This is a Basic R8 with 4, 1416 phones. Seems like there's always something buggy with this equipment resulting in go-backs, enough that I'm considering another manufactures product after nearly 27 years.

This is a known issue. I think latest R8 solves it, but a quick search here will find others with the same issue.

Thanks for the replies. Didn't realize this was a known issue. I just purchased this unit from my supplier and installed last Wednesday! It's the latest R8 and wasn't expecting to return to do an upgrade already. These go-backs are eating into my (already small) margins! Be calling my supplier tomorrow. Thanks again.

Good news, but ...............how long has it been working at 8.1.67?

The Partner version is so funky one never knows when it will stop working properly and revert to unexplained behavior.

I'm a fan of simplified operation but I'm beginning to lose faith in Avaya's Partner-version team. Come on, team, get your s**t together! I have a family to feed!
