You can buy most intercom systems today that interface with an analogue extension. You would need an ATA or an ASM8 Module if you have not already got one. You can interface the analogue extension with the BCM and still use the relay on the BCM to close the door contact on the intercom system.I do not know how you would do the video side of things if you have more than one answering point. Simply because you would need a monitor or screen at every desk. There might be an option for IP systems in the future with video conferencing on the up. But I have not seen any of the shelf that interfaces with the BCM.
But I could be wrong
We use a intercom system that interfaces with an analogue extension. The button is then programmed when pushed it picks up dial tone and dials a hunt group number. We then dial in the feature for the door contact and the individual is let in.
