Hello everybody,
first of all, as usual, sorry for my bad english.
And now the problem.
I used Delphi 3 and now I'm working with Delphi 5.
I still have both installed on my PC. In the near future I will upgrade the product to Delphi 2006 - already bought. As you know, one must be cautious to avoid problem with no solution. In fact, recently, after a disinstallation followed by an installation of interbase 6, I got the substitution of a character: # instead of ° (for example in the place of 1° I get 1#). I don't understand why and I didn't find anything about it up to now.
Please help me.
Thanks.

i think you must determine a suitable character set
for your data like ISO8859_1 for european language like french .
