I currently use live cycle to create an interactive PDF form for our department schedules. What I want to do is create a form for data entry and export that from a report form to a PDF. Is there a way to create that PDF form to be interactive similar to the way Live Cycle allows me to do?
Can I merge it to a static PDF?

Thanks

Will

No, this type of PDF is nothing you print with a PDF printer. Also VFP reports are for print, not for interaction, there are no interactive report controls.

This kind of PDFs are rather comparable to forms. If you have data to fill into the pdf in a foxpro database the idea would be to automate those PDF forms from VFP, eg with Amyuni third party add-on, like you would automate internet pages/html forms, using the Document Object Model, whatever that would be for those PDFs, but not by reports.

Bye, Olaf.

Thanks. I will look at third party software then.

From what I read at the adobe website Live Cycle comes with an API for developers, so you should check out into this too.

Bye, Olaf.
