we have Call Manager 5. - business partner has an Inter-Tel system & wants us to intergrate with them. What am I up against? I would rather they just go to our system, but they refuse. Help! I need some pros & CONS for help stop this intergration. Thanks

Why don't you go to their system??

(Sorry had to say it...)

okay
and the benifit of that - 2700 stations and with 70 intele stations sitting in the middle?
thanks

ISND integration will work just fine between the two systems if all you are looking is basic connectivity. You still have to maintain two systems as a con and the upgrade/maintenance that comes with that.
For 70 users it is almost not worth the work to integrate unless all you are looking for is basic call flow (transfer, interoffice dial, etc).

I think the largest con is the cost maintenance of two systems. Unless you have inhouse resources everytime you need a change you will have to call two vendors to assist. (I would guess with 2700 ccm phones you have inhouse resources for support on the cisco side).

That could be another cost saver that you will not have to pay MITERTEL each time you need to change a button on a phone.
