We have a small off-site facility that has an Inter-Tel Access system with 30 extensions. I am attempting to set up the paging feature, but the administrative console says that I need zones. The book provided tells me how to do just about everything but program the zones. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks
Matt Williams

There is probably a feature code to do a page. try them, and see if all the phones are in one of the zones by default. If nto yuo will need to add the phones to a zone before again tryiong the zone paging feature code.

If you are using Session Manager, go to Devices/Page Zones on the left, on the right, right click and create a zone, double-click the zone, add either keysets or trunks (for valcom type equipment)

Is there a way to program the Zones from each individual handset using some sort of feature code? I'm not sure what Session Manager is, I've worked on Nortel systems before but never an Inter-Tel. The paging feature is already set up, its just that there are no Zones in which to page. I thank you all in advance.
