inter-site communication

Here is my problem:

I have a page with a drop down menu on it. And when that page is visited, the menu must be populated with information which is held on another site. So therefore it is populated dynamically.

What is going into the menu is a list of indexed directories within that site which is maintained at another location.

any help would be much appreciated

Write a server-side script that polls the other server and builds the drop-down accordingly. Use Server Side Includes to incorporate the menu into your pages.

clearly indicates that html&css forum cannot help with your problems. You will need to take your question to the server-side scripting forum that you use, much like Chris Hunt already suggested.
