I have a script that allows for a person to choose to go to voicemail by pressing '0' if they have waited more 5 min in queue. I have the inter digit timer set a 5 seconds, but would like the ability to have the caller choose the option at any time while in the loop...if I set the timer to 60 seconds, does it reserve the voice port for the entire time? Is there a better way to provide a 'press 0 at any time' option?
thanks.

set it to 60 seconds and that is how long the script still stop executing the voice session unitl the user enter a choice

what you're looking for is not possible, you can enter your choice at anytime during the voice session prompting you to make a choice, but once out of the voice session and flowing through the rest of the script, that's is it...you're executing the next step...you had your chance

thanks djwht,
so the port isn't reserved for the entire 60 seconds? My fear is that this may impact other calls coming in...

oh yeah, the port is tied up waiting for you to make a decision

The longer the voice sesssion, this includes the length of your voice segment plus any inter digit timer, the longer your access ports will be tied up
