Intellisense and Prompts Not Visible

Our company recently purchased new LCD monitors(HP L1706). The problem is that the Intellisense pops up but the choices are not visible. Its not only the Intellisense, the WAIT WINDOW does not appear with the prompt either. My guess was that it had something to do with the graphics accelerator, so I decelerated but no success. Any idea?

Go to the HP web site and Download & Install the latest video drivers for that model for your operating system.

Are you sure this is caused by the new monitors? Have you tried doing a straight swap of the old and new monitors, without changing anything else in the configuration?

Also, it would be interesting to know if the problem is limited to VFP? Have you noticed any other unexpected behaviour in other applications?

Thanks for the response. You're right, it was not due to the monitor but something with Windows XP installation. I was given a tip to change the DISPLAY properties in Windows. I went to the Appearance tab and changed the Color Scheme from its default setting of Windows XP to Windows Classic and I got back my intellisense.
