Has anyone used this successfully and recommend it? Thanks!

Yes. I've used it. I checked the registry both before and after. The keys are updated.

I too have used it on my servers and also on many of my clients and I ran TZEdit.exe on the machines before and after using IntelliAdmin and it shows that the date for the time change will be on the correct dates.

Keep in mind the Intelliadmin only fixes US time zones...there are a total of 32 different time zone fixes provided for in the MS KB.

I'm Certifiable, not cert-ified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

Thank you all for the helpful input!

IA is very easy to use.

I have to agree with 2ffat as the IA is exteremely easy to use.

trojansource,

IA does the "tweak" automatically, and people like me can use TZ to make sure that the change was made. IA is faster, and IA can be run from a script to make changes all over the network. TZ can be used to confirm those changes.

FWIW,

Joe

AFAIK, the IA fix only changes Windows. I do know they have a fix for Win98 and ME but not for 95.

This is to BOBUS69. Would you please elaborate on your email?

"But do you know that after you run the Intelliadmin it creates a process.

I forwarded BOBUS69 comment only to IntelliAdmin. Below is their response:

"There is a bug where the program does not terminate on a small number
of systems. You simply can terminate it with task manager. It does not
need to stay around on your computer for the change to remain. You can
delete it after you are finished. An no we have no spyware, viruses,
or anything like that - only freeware goodness :)

Will this DST patch be sufficient for a W2K SBS with Exchange? (Please say YES!)

Got this reply from IntelliAdmin regarding the question of their patch fixing Exchange: "It will work fine for the server OS...but It will not fix Exchange. It still needs updates from MS. Right now they charge $4000 for a patch
on Exchange 2000. You can either buy that patch to fix exchange, or upgrade to Exchange 2003 :("

Did anybody buy that expensive patch from M$?
