Integration G3r and Octel 350

Hi, thanks for the response guys,

I'm trying to test an Octel 350 A-Tic DID board. Which Iam currently not setup to test. When I try to use the LnTP-1 the 350 wont accept that type #. Can't find any info on the DID card on the Avaya website. any suggestions?

Are you sure it is a DID card ? what is the part number on it. I have not seen a DID card for a 350 only in the old aspen line

What you're looking for is in Appendix B of the Octel 350 Service Manual which you can download from support.avaya.com . All of the line types for all cards are listed. I think you may be looking for Line Type 43.

I'm currently setup to test A-Tic, Pic-A, Pic-N, using UDLC cards. intergrate with Avaya G3r, and Nortel Option 11.
What I looking for is some config notes for the Octel A-Tic DID analog interface card. Not using wink, im, but can if need be. I think the DID card does not operate alone like the other A-Tic boards, but probably works in conjunction with another A-Tic card.

One thing you can't do is mix PIC cards in the same line group. You must put the DID in its own line group. It may also be that the type of PBX in menu 1 is not letting you put the right line type in. I will look and see if i have a old config note for this as they do to support this PIC any longer.

DID trunks have a office end (the CO) and a station end (the PBX, or in this case the 350) The 350 DID card only supports the station end. The PBX will also be a station end. Unless you can configure the PBX to look like a CO, you won't be able to use a DID to connect to the 350.
