Integrating Intuity Audix with CCM 1

Hi Guys...
I've seen threads that some of u guys managed to hook up the ccm with the audix...
Can anyone give me a rough guide on how can it be done??

The easiest way is to use a VG248 to connect the FXS-FXO ports into the Audix with serial cable from the Call Manager to the Audix for MWI. If you are using some of the later Octel version you can use a DPA instead for digital intergration.

Hello all... I know this is an old thread, but I am attemptin the very same thing. I have a doc from Lucent (so that should tell you a bit) that roughly describes the integration to CallManager from Intuity, but leaves much to be desired. Does anybody have any new and thorough material on this? I am using a VG248 for the voice ports. Thanks in advance...

Can anyone send me an email with the correct settings and configuration in a Cisco VG248 gateway for the Intuity Audix integration? I also lost the Avaya White paper which instructs on the Intuity configuration for Call Manager.

Can you let me know if you have any current information on how to integrate Cisco Call Manager wit hthe Avaya Intuity Audix. I have the whiite papeer from Avaya's web site on CCM and Audix interation but it does not speak to the Cisco VG248 for port configuration. Any additional information would be appreciated.

We did eventually get everything to work. I used the Avaya white paper as a guide, but had to make a few mods. A few that come to mind:

1. Do not use the "octupus" tail from the intuity. I used a cisco console cable directly form the vg248's Async 1
SMDI port to the Intuity serial comm port. Make sure you change this in the Intuity setup for the proper serial conneciton.

2. The MWI did not work on when I followed Avayas doc. I had to change the intervals on the Intuity so that these were not continously re-broadcast.

This job was on contract, so I unfortunalty do not currently have remote access to either the Intuity or the CallManager to get the exact configs. Feel free to post if you have any specific questions that I may be able to answer.
