Hi All,

Hoping someone might be able to guide me in the right direction and clarify my understanding :)

We have a client who is looking to redevelop an in-house database app to incorporate telephony control within the app - they are going to build the app to be fully TAPI compliant -

My thoughts (and questions are as follows)

Will we need to run YA?

Does the Mitel TAPI driver control the link between the 3300 and YA or is it between YA and the 3rd Party app?

Any advice gratefully received :)

Cheers

Jim

You can get the MITSP desktop edition from MOL. This is free and you just install it on all the client machines. Point the app to the Tapi driver and that's it. This is the Tapi service provider

You don't need YA then

So does that mean that I can't run both at the same time on a machine?

I.e the client will need to engineer the app for any and all telephony functionality he wants from the desktop?

Cheers

Jim

Sorry, have you got YA already? If so then that would have already installed the TAPI driver so your all good to go.

You should be ok for it to run both, only one way to find out ::))
