integrating access DB with remote MySQL

Hi,
I need to create a database that will be used reguarly pretty much to keep an address book of my clients, with a few extra fields specific to my business.

I want to be able to have a user go to my website and fill out a form. I want the data from that form to automatically be added to my access database on my hard drive? Is this possible?

Or is it possible to create the whole database in MySQL and store it on the webserver and use access or something else to be able to easily manipulate the database, create reports, forms and queries etc.

The only thing database related I wanted to do through the website is the adding of new details using a simple web form.

Any ideas on the best way to approach this?

In order for a web form to add data to the database on your hard drive, your web server will need to be able to connect to it.
This may indeed be possible if your web server is under your own control and you are happy for your PC to be run 24x7 to allow a live connection. If, however, this server is run by an ISP you may not have that option and a MySQL database on the server would be a better option.
Whether you would be able to connect to it from your PC though would depend on how they have set up the access control to it.
