I have developed an application in vb.net and my client wants the finacials writing to Great Plains.

I really don't know where to start, I can't seem to find an SDK or any info about an SDK. Can some experienced programmers out there give me a push?

:)

Thanks

There is a sdk on the installation disks. This will list some table name descriptions and links, etc.

There are no APIs to great plains. It is built on a 4GL system. It is not object based. Parts of the code are in stored procedures and some in dexterity script.

You have several options: Integration Manager/Integration Manager for Excel or a custom sql upload to the underlying tables. A basic G/L batch upload integration shouldn't be too hard for an experienced programmer to write. I'd recommend you start off by keying in the data you want and using sql profiler to see what data and where the system is pulling it from.
