i want to install AIX 5.3 on p520 without hmc and cad adapter monter .
i have serial cable only how installation

Plug the serial cable in the back, using your favourite serial terminal software, put the CD in the drive and turn it on. It there anything installed on the system?

now aix is installed in server but i can't connect in the server ,i useing hyper terminal,when choosing aixterm undefined.
do you have any software helps in connect.

hyper terminal is very basic. you may want to try putty (it is free) or pay for something like Secure CRT or Attach mate Reflections.

The problem may be that you do not have a tty defined on the port that you are plugged into. Make sure you plug it into first serial port.
