Intall informatica with sql server

Could some one provide me with steps how to install informatica. i am very new to this, could you also let me know the resources where i can find documentation.

I wanna to learn this if some one can some papers that would be great.

I believe you first create an empty DB in SQL Server, which you can name whatever you want. Then, when you install Informatica you specify that DB as the repository.
