Insufficient Memory in Outlook 1

Recently we have had a problem with one machine in our office and Microsoft Outlook 97. When we go to check for new mail a message comes up stating there is insufficient memory. Any ideas what could cause this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

tried increasing Virtual Memory?

Thank you for your repsonses. It seems there was a message that Outlook just didn't like. We were able to go to the server and delete it. It didn't have a date on it. Thank you again for your help.
