Trying to load software patches on BCM400 3.7. Keep getting "insufficient disk space on drive E:" error. I have the 194-OS2 patch loaded still getting error. I have deleted CDR files but those are on drive D. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure what can be deleted off of the drive.

Thanks. I deleted them, although the "Archlog Directory" is still there. I still have the same issue.

You have to go in via the serial port and navigate to the E: drive and delete all the files there.

I'll bet that someone did a backup to the BCM at some time in the past. Those files are very big and you wind up not being able to patch because that's where files are stored temporarily during patching.

That drive is just for temporary files and backups on the BCM.

This usually occurs when the tech can't get the thing to backup off the box. Beats having nothing I guess.

There is a "Backup directory" and a BRUBack.log file. Do you think I should delete those?

Yes, you can delete those. By default the BRU uses the E: drive. You'll notice the date of the file and any backup folders, they're old..

delete folder by: rd <folder name>
