If I change a filter in a report via the designer it does not seem to change it for a recurring report instance in InfoView. This is a major pain if I have 50 to 100 instances of a report - how can I fix this? Do I really need to go into InfoView and change the filter on each one?

Thanks,

Chad

Instances have already ran, modifications to reports in CE are made to all future instances.

But recurring instances when I see them through InfoView have the old filter.

So if I have a report w/ 300 recurring instances and I change the report's filter I have to go into InfoView and paste the new filter into each one?

There must be a workaround or 3rd party solution - how could anyone with any large # of reports manage this?

Hi,
Why would any report need 300 recurring schedules, especially one with identical selection criteria?

Perhaps there is a confusion between a recurring schedule and the historical instances already run?

Different users/groups of users get the same report, the parameters are different but the select criteria/filter are the same.

These are generally sales reports so individual reps get reports with just their sales/lead information.

Hi,
Thanks, that ecplains it.
If it were in my system I would ( as I am sure you have) look for a database-centered way to do this distinction so I could have far fewer recurring instances..
