InstallShield and Access 2000 Runtime

I have posted the same question out on the InstallShield forums and have received no assistance.

Has anyone had any success creating a setup distribution using the InstallShield merge module for Access 2000/02/03 runtime?

The add-in that comes with InstallShield drops the Access runtime files in the folder of my choosing, however, it does not actually install the runtime files as part of the installation process.

Any assistance would be much appreciated...

I've not used it myself, but I would definately look at

http://www.Sagekey.com.

They do a range of install routines that are simply superb.
I use the MSI wizard and I can't say how amazing it is. It doesn't care if other version of Access are installed, it doesn't give any odd error messages about Jet SP8 and things. It doesn't care if you haven't bought an expensive certificate. It just works.
I've heard similar about the addin's for installshield & wise. A sound investment that should be in any developer's arsenal.

Thanks... I think I am looking into using InstallShield's 30 day money back guarantee, especially since it will cost me an additional $100 just to get a question answered.

I am assuming the MSI Wizard is a stand-alone product, does not requre anything else?

That's correct. You just need the Access Developer Edition for whichever version you are using.
