Hello,

I created an SSIS package in Microsoft's BIDS studio and I need to load the SSIS package into the SQL Server. Currently, I have the package saved locally on my HD and when I need to execute it, I either execute it in BIDS or just click the executable package. However, I need the package loaded on the server. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dave

Connect to SSIS through Management Studio

Expand the "Stored Packages" folder to view the 2 options
File System and MSDB

Right Click the File System folder and select "Import Package"

Select File System in the drop down box and browse for the package via the browse button by "Package Path". Make sure you name it and thats it

How do I connect to SSIS through management studio? I was looking for that folder, (or a similar one) in the heirarchy but could not find it...

Thanks,

David
