Installing Sound Polycom Sound Station2 (No expansion)

Hello Gurus,

Need help with SS2 installation on Avaya Definity 3.x. When I connected the unit to a analog port (connected to PBX) successsful in getting the dial tone but unable to make internal calls (4 digit ext) or not sure what ext the unit is getting. The port on ASA still showing 'X'. When I try to dial long distance the number somewhere else ;-). is there any key seq needs to enter to pickup the port (like digital pohnes *771234<ext>).

X port meaning not extension sign-in , you should use tti-code or psa code sign-in extension number.

remember -- extension much use analog number.

Thanks Wilson. Infact I was using wrong code sequence to get associated with PBX. All set now. Thanks.
