Installing R55P_HFA8 on IPSO 3.9

Hey, I'm new to this forum, so Hi all.
I'll dive straight in with my question.

I have a firewall on which I've installed IPSO 3.9
and CheckPoint NG AI, yep, you heard correctly, I know
that R55P is meant for IPSO 3.8, but the new firewall came with IPSO 3.9 and our Checkpoint Support partner said that
there is no documentation to so say that it wouldn't work.

I'm now stuck as I want to install R55P_HFA_08 on this firewall for testing, before I put it on the production firewalls. Has anyone tried this installation?

i.e. installing R55P_HFA_08_IPSO3.8 on IPSO 3.9

Yes we have an installation and it is very much in production.

No problems faced
