I am trying to setup a test environment. I need to have the exchange 5.5 server in a seperate domain than the Outlook Web Access. The OWA needs to be in another domain with IIS.
I am not exactly sure how to set this up, but I would assume that you can just install OWA on the IIS server. However, I encounter problems when the OWA install prompts me for exchange server that it will be connecting to -
I received the following message - The Microsoft Exchange System Attendent is unavailable. - Microsoft Exchange Server Setup c1031668

As far as I know, OWA must be in the same domain (it may work in trusted domain, but I have not tested). I think it will not be able to verify the username/password unless the OWA-server have permission to check the domains usermanager.
