We have a BCM50 6.0 using T7316e handsets. We have another off site office in town. What is the best and most reliable way to provide extension handsets off the of the BCM50 so we can use all of the home offices features like paging, transferring, voice mail intercom etc.? How easy is it to install and program these sets for service at the remote office? What do you suggest?

That depends on how many phones you want at your other office.

If you want to deploy IP sets, you will need the NAT Traversal license in the BCM and enough bandwidth to accommodate the number of sets (with G.711 codecs, plan on 100k per set per call).

If you have another system at your remote office, if it's capable, connect IP trunks between the two (you will need the appropriate number of licenses for them as well).

Thank you.

We are using high speed coax and not DSL. What is the easiest and least cost least complicated method to deploy for about 3 to 5 handsets? We currently only have 4 line RCA analog do it yourself handsets at the other office.

NAT Traversal license in the BCM and your choice of Nortel IP sets.

No VPN required.......very easy.
