I’m adding another MGC CS100E R6 cabinet for a NT5D14 Lineside T1. There is not a PRI with clock in this cabinet (AND I DON'T HAVE ONE). The NTP is vague regarding this subject ds, maybe someone with actual experience can help. I’ve been "told" that a clock isn’t required if you are not using the Lineside to send faxes, is this true? The NTP says Use an MGC DECT Clock Reference Cable (NTDW67AAE5) to bring a clock source from other CS 1000 cabinet/chassis that has a Central Office Link with accurate clock source available. I think I can run this cable to the other MGC cabinet that has a clock in it. One end of the cable goes to the AUI port but, where does the other end go??? Maybe the NTP picture is incorrect....it shows DB9 to DB15. Thanks!

From the Dect NTP NN43120-114_01.06_DECT_FND.pdf

page 24

For CS 1000E DECT installations that span more than 1 cabinet, the
NTDW63AAE5 (Option 11C Cabinet Ethernet & Clock Reference Breakout
Adapter) is used with the NTDW67AAE5 (Clock Reference Cable) to synchronize the backplane clock between two Option 11C cabinets. For
DECT installation that span more than 1 MG 1000 main cabinet , the NTDW67AAE5 cable is used to synchronize the backplane
clock between two MG 1000 Chassis.

Both ends are DB15
