Hi,

The installation goes as far as where you are asked to connect the USB cable and turn the printer on and when I do that nothing happens.

also there's no way to uninstall the software to try again.

Have you tried a different USB cable? Have you made sure that you USB controllers are all responding OK in device manager, you may uninstall them and then scan for hardware changes and see if that makes a differences and then try again.
