Hi,

I am having problems installing Informatica Server on Windows XP home.

I get Invalid username/password during installation.

Username: User with admin privileges which the server
will use to run on.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks!

use the same username password as database username/password during firdt time informatica server setup. It will work.

Which database username/password to be used ?? I dont understand this.

Its not the DB UserName but the Machine Username with Admin Privileges to run the Infa Service.

If you are tryng to install version 6.2 it will not run on Win XP home as you need to have the logon rights "logon as service " for the account you are logging in(windows).
You wont have any problem with Win XP Pro.

Hi
You must configure your PC to use User name and password. And use the same username/password of your PC login during Informatica server installation.
