Hello,

I have downloaded all 12 components of Service Pack 1 and I have extracted each of the 12 .exe files to the SP1 folder I created on my local hard drive. I understand that this is correct.

Now I want to install the update. The Readme file talks about an update.exe file which I assume is what I need to run to install the update. I did not find this application in the SP1 folder, however, there is an app by this name in c:\sp1\setup\i386\ Is this the application to run to install SP1? Can you think of anything else I should know about installing SP1?

Thanks for your patience.

Anthony.

Yup thats it :)

Make sure your Exchange AV is the latest build then apply SP1 and be excited. That is about it. If you have ADC then you need to do a reinstall of it from the SP1 stuff. Dan

Thanks Xybertron/Dan.

I now have more questions.

Exchange AV (AV=Anti-Virus?) - what happens if SP1 is installed without having the latest build of Exchange AV? how do I find out if we have the latest build?

Thanks.

I meant the latest build of the 3rd party AV. In SP1 we went to AVAPI 2.0 and some software caused the store to loop and sit at 100%. Not good :) I won't name any names. Dan
