Hi All.

Alright.

I have a 2000 AD domain. 2 exisiting exchange servers, both of which are being replaced by a beefy new box. Trying to get the new box to become an exchange server.. I run setup with forest prep and get this:

Setup failed while Renaming the Address List Container created by the ADC.
(error 0x8007200A: The specified directory service attribute or value does not
exist.) .

Additional information:
The specified directory service attribute or value does not exist.

Facility: Win32
ID no: 8007200a
Microsoft Exchange Setup

mode = 'ForestPrep' (61965)

Setup encountered an error during Microsoft Exchange Forest Preparation of
ForestPrep component task.

Function:
CAtomOrgCtChildren::ScMoveADCAddressListContainerUnderneathOrg
CAtomOrgCtChildren::ScAddDSObjects
CBaseAtom::ScSetup
CBaseComponent::ScSetup
CCompForestPrep::ScSetup
CComExchSetupComponent::Install

Only thing I can think of is that I deleted the default address lists some time ago, but recreated them based on a post from this very message board using the correct filters, yet I still get this error.

Server was DCpromo'ed to a Domain Controller, tried reinstalling Windows 2000 Server, tried removing and re-adding to the domain. Can't get it to go! Help!
