Does anyone know how to install the Kodak CX series camera without Easyshare and a Internet connection?

If you have the Kodak CD you can install it without registering and creating an account online. Is there a reason why you are choosing Kodak as your photo manager app? You could also try Picasa small, fast and user friendly.

Hope this helps.

What do you mean with "install the camera"?

If you just want to get the pictures, you can do it with a USB connection.

Cheers,
Dian

When I plug the camera in thru USB...I get the update driver window where I can select to search the Internet or select from a location or from the list within XP.

Yes all I want is the pictures and to have the camera recognized as a drive.

Double click on My computer and you should see another drive there, double click on it and navigate until you see your pics.

Hope this helps.

You don't need an Internet connection and don't need to install EasyShare... but you do need to install the hardware drivers.

Just let the installation CD autoboot then, after you accept the license agreement, choose the 'Custom' option. This will let you install just the 'Kodak camera connection software', i.e. the hardware drivers.

I did this recently and it works perfectly.
