Installing a 3rd 2250 console 1

Could someone tell me what I need to install a 3rd 2250 console? Also it is going in a remote buildings - there is a existing 25 pair cable between the buildings now that terms at the idf, can I extend a 25 pair from the IDF to the console or does it have to be a direct pull?

the books say use a home run 25, i always run a 4 pair cat 5, at least, a tie cable will work, my 8 operators are working on a 50 pair tie cable, you just need 2 pair for tn's and at least one pair for power, you can use local power, but i don't...

On the connector at the 2250 console. What is the pinout on the 25 pin connector and the correspondent 8 pin connector?

I have two systems, each with distinct 25pin/rj45 connectors, one has 2 pairs and another has 4 pairs. The one with 2 pairs works ok, like putting the console in night mode. The one with the 4 pair, puts night mode into busy. why?

It all depends. The 2nd console will go to busy if another console is still logged in. If using 25 pr or 4 pr cable be sure to program the PWR tns. Would need to confirm pinouts for power, but the TN's for the console TN1 wht/blu, tn2 wht/orn.

mlickie 90 percent of the 81's i have installed do not have power tn's programed. why will the 2 console go busy? we have 6 2250's on a single 50 pair tie cable, and there is seldom less the 2 att on duty.. power tn's use pair 6 and 7, i want to say 6 is (-) 24, 7 is (+).. don't even connect power with verifing that, it's been a few years. (and i'm old)

If there is more then one console, what is displayed on the console that is not attended while the other is?

our consoles show busy, when it's in night and at least one console is in days. reread your post, the wording misdirected me, i do know your one of the better techs i've posted with. a console in nights does show busy, it does not ring busy or effect night treatment.
