I currently have Oracle 7.3.4 installed and working on my server machine. I need to install Oracle 8i on this machine. Is there going to be any problem if install 8i enterprise manager with Oracle 7.3.4? If so, is there a work around it? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks...

If you are on NT / 2000, you migth have some problems with oracle "homes" and registry.
I am not sure that "Oracle home selector" works with 2 different versions.
If you're on UNIX it might be easier

Yes, I am using NT. So, is there any articles or publications that can help me solve this problem?

I am using Oracle 7.3.4 Client and 8.06 Enterprise on a Windows NT server with service pack 6. I removed the oracle registry and then installed Oracle 8. The only thing you have to make sure of is that your PATH environment variable contains poiters to both Oracles and that the applications using Oracle also point to the right ones.
Our Path variable looks something like this:

PATH=x:\oraclnt\bin;d:\orant etc etc

where Oraclnt is 7.3.4 and Orant is 8.06

To change the path setting on our server I just went through the control manager/system/env variables but you can also change the autoexec.bat file (Havent tried that on a server mind!)
hope that helps
