I have installed SP1 to my CE 9.0 installation because I could not access the Job Server. I was hoping that this would correct the situation. Now all of the reports have "Download Plugin" instead of view and I recieve an error when clicking on it.

Also, now when I go into the CMC and click on anything, I receive a Retrieve Error stating "Unable to get the admin object for the APSAdmin service for server".

I am really not having much luck right now.

Check in the CMC that all the servers are enabled. Seems to me that SP1 disables some of the servers.

After installingthe service pack, I cannot access the servers using the CMC. The only way to enable the servers is from the CCM.

I have restored the original files for CE and found that the errors are received on all of the servers except the APS. Also, if I keep clicking the server, receiving the error, going back and then click the server again, eventually it lets me in to the properties.

Do you have any ideas about the "Download Plugin" message on all of the reports? I can't view the reports due to this message. Is there some sort of plugins that need to be reinstalled after the service pack install?

Sorry. I meant CCM. I have seen the errors you're experiencing when upgrading from 8.5 to 9.0. I worked with BO tech support for awhile with little success. Applying sp1 made it worse. I finally formatted the box and installed CE9 from scratch. Applying CE9 SP1 disabled the services, which I re-enabled in CCM.

I guess I'm better off waiting until the business group decides to go to CE 10. I'm hearing from several people that SP1 causes more problems than it solves.
