Installed NAV ver 7.6 on NT Server - Now Will Not Shutdown

Hi,

I installed the corporate edition of Norton 7.6 onto a server running NT4 Service Pack 6


Now, the server ignores a request to Shutdown - hangs with hourglass until you 'wake it up' by clicking on something.
I also posted this in the NT4 forum.

Has anyone encountered this problem?

Hi,

I have one problems in ours file server and the problems is
symantec system center console is not working because when I change the configaration of the system center then its damage.
And I lost my Symantec corporate edition CD software
if it is possible to download that soft ware please help me

I have the symantec registration number but i lost the software

I should have posted back to let everyone know how I solved this.

My mistake was in installing NAV onto the server before I uninstalled the old Netshield antivirus tool.

Resolved the problem by uninstalling both antivirus tools, then disabling the services they auto. start.

Then installed NAV 7.6 - now can shutdown and restart with no hangups.
